I don't see any problem. Uhm... that's weird, could you tell me the manufacture and paste here the output of "dmidecode" ? Have you tried to play with /etc/modules.d/nvidia ? To get at least X working, try also to add "xdriver=nv" to the boot parameters. this is nvidia bug to solve add Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP" to xorg.conf in section Device the system detect a phantom CRT ... see http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2335&highlight= or http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=1004928 NVIDIA bug.
