This driver not work because it's necessary to blacklist two modules. 
For a working broadcom-sta driver it's necessary to run this two commands

# echo "blacklist ssb" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
# echo "blacklist b43" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

I think this instruction should be printed when package was installed

This is not our fault. Blame upstream (somewhere between kernel hackers and driver manufacturer).
